CP is Recruiting New Directors!

Colonial Players is encouraging anyone interested in directing or in learning to direct to register now for our biennial, one-day Directing Workshop and the Summer One-Act Play Festival! The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 14th with the One-Act Festival running July 19 – 29, 2012 at Colonial Players Theatre, 108 East Street, Annapolis. Attendance at the Workshop is required for inexperienced directors as well as veteran directors who have not directed at Colonial Players before.

The Directing Workshop is Free, and Potential Directors both new and new to Colonial Players are encouraged to take advantage of this open opportunity to learn about directing theatre in the round! Non-members are welcome to attend as members by joining CP for just $10. If there is a play you particularly wish to direct, send the script to the festival coordinator. Actors interested in the Festival will audition for the assigned directors on May 20, 21, and 22.
