On January 17, 2015, Colonial Players sent “Tough Cookies,” an original, comedic one-act play by Brett Hursey to the 2015 Maryland Community Theatre One-Act Festival where the group was honored with the 1st place award of “Outstanding Production.” They will travel to the 2015 Eastern States Theatre Association Festival (http://www.estafest.org/) in La Plata, MD on April 17-19, 2015 to compete regionally. Additionally, special awards were issued to Director Cseni Szabo, who was honored with an “Outstanding Direction” award and actor Josette Dubois, who was honored with an “Outstanding Performance” Award.

Congratulations to those folks in addition to actors Brandon Bentley and Laurel Kenney, producer Jennifer Dustin, and crew member Krisztina Vanyi.
