The Colonial Players, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of our annual scholarship award. Each year, the theatre offers a $2,000 scholarship to encourage participation in theatre, reward an individual with a record of involvement, and foster life-long appreciation for and support of community theatre.

All prospective full-time college students who will have earned a high school diploma, or the equivalent, by the end of the current academic year are eligible to apply for our scholarship award. Applicants must have demonstrated participation in any aspect of community theater, but a major in theater is not required. Past winners satisfying eligibility criteria may reapply in subsequent years; however, priority will be given to new applicants.

This year’s scholarship application deadline is December 31, 2013. The award announcement will be made by the end of May, 2014 and published on our website after the winner has been notified.
