The Colonial Players Board of Directors adopted a new version of the Resolutions at the November 11, 2013 meeting. The following changes are included in this update, listed by section:

  • All: References to The Colonial Players, Inc. have been changed to “the Corporation”.
  • All: Minor clarifications and editorial corrections.
  • All: Replaced “Holiday Show” with “A Christmas Carol”.
  • A.2: Added A.2 describing the Production Manual as a supplement to the Resolutions, and requiring Board approval for updates.
  • B.2.c: Added B.2.c, the responsibility for the Bequest Committee.
  • B.5.a: Included wording for Board input consideration in the play selection process.
  • B.7.c.4.d: Added B.7.c.4.d delegating the responsibility for the actor audition list to the HR Director.
  • B.8.b.4: Added B.8.b.4 requiring Marketing Director/Team approval for all marketing content released through all media outlets.
  • B.9.a: Added B.9.a.9 requirement for maintenance of the Facilities Rental and Usage Agreement.
  • B.9.c: Added B.9.c.2 requirement for maintenance of the website framework and B.9.c.5 requirement for maintaining security of the Corporation’s electronic data.
  • D.7: Clarified wording regarding archival video recording policies.
  • D.9: Clarified wording regarding contract signing requirements.
  • E.5: Added the Treasurer to the requirement for individual board members signing contracts for consistency with Bylaw requirements.
  • E.11: Added requirement for Board approval on the donation from A Christmas Carol proceeds.
  • F.10: Added F.10, a requirement for all ticket prices, subscription packages, and discounts to be approved by the Board. Added a list of currently approved ticket prices and subscription packages.
  • I.1: Added detail describing where accident report forms will be maintained.
  • K.2: Added requirement for a Board member to be on-site at all times when facilities are used by an outside organization.
  • K.3: Added detail describing where the Facilities Rental and Usage Agreement will be maintained.
  • K.7: Added K.7 prohibiting usage of lobby furniture for rehearsals or construction.
