The Colonial Players is pleased to announce its 2017-2018 Season and is seeking directors for 5 of the 7 productions listed (**NOT accepting applications to direct). To learn more about the season and help you determine if you wish to submit an application to direct, The Colonial Players invites you to attend an Executive Production Meeting on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at The Colonial Players Annex to discuss the challenges presented by the slate, as well as a Sneak Peek on Saturday, February 18, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Theater at 108 East Street for a brief reading/viewing of each show. Attendance at either event is NOT a prerequisite for submitting an application to direct.

- Title of the show(s) you wish to be considered for
- One or two paragraphs describing your vision for the show(s)

- List of dates in March, 2017 on which you are NOT available

All directors will be asked to meet with the Director Selection Committee in mid-March where you will be given the opportunity to expand on your vision for the show(s) you have expressed an interest in directing. A dedicated Union nurse and a mysterious Confederate refugee meet on the Shiloh battlefield to compete for the title of Best Female Reenactor of the Year. With their young trainees trying to out-do each other in "authenticity," and a concessionaire egging both sides on, their competition leads them into real conflict with Ranger Wilson, an African-American female park ranger who would rather be anywhere than the year 1862, imaginary or not.
