Colonial Players is pleased to announce the return of the One-Act Festival this summer! As in the past, the festival will consist of two slates and run for two weeks (July 28 through August 6, 2017). However the format of the festival has changed. Plays will be chosen through a director/play package. Also, plays submitted must be published by a known publishing house. New directors (those who have not directed a main stage play at CP or other established theater) will be limited to plays with running times of 30 minutes or less. The maximum run-time of any play submitted is 60 minutes.

Deadline for director/play package submissions is March 15, 2017 March 29, 2017. To submit a director/play package for the One-Act Festival, please download the short form located on the Downloads page under Forms or by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
