We are excited to announce the Colonial Players’ 2019 trip to New York City! The dates for the trip are set for the weekend of March 30 and 31, 2019 and as with previous trips, it will be a “Free Range” format where those who have signed up can choose what shows (and how many) they would like to see. We will email a Theatre Packet of shows, ticket websites and dining options and we will have an evening in Annapolis beforehand so people can coordinate if they would like to see shows and/or have dinner together.

As we did last year, we will rent a bus so as to reduce the price per person.

Here is the itinerary:

Saturday, March 30th

8:00 a.m.: Meet at the Bladen Street Garage in Annapolis, where we can park for free over the weekend and board the bus.

12:00 p.m. (approx): We arrive at the Edison Hotel on 47th Street. Giving everyone enough time to purchase Saturday evening tickets at TKTS, etc. (or for those who have purchased tickets ahead of time, to go to the matinee they have purchased).

Option to have dinner together at Carmines or somewhere else.

Sunday, March 31st

Everyone has the option to see a matinee on Sunday (again, either purchasing tickets ahead of time or at TKTS that day).

7:00 p.m.: We get back on the bus for the trip home.

This package includes:

• Bus up to New York and back
• One night, double occupancy hotel room
• Information on shows, ticket sites and dining options

The price is $480.00 per couple but please contact us if you would be traveling by yourself but are interested in sharing a room. To reserve your space, you can go to the ticketing website to pay the first payment online at: https://tickets.thecolonialplayers.org or you can contact the Colonial Players’ box office at 410-268-7373 to make your 50% down-payment of $240 (due by November 30, 2018). We will need 12 couples to sign up to rent the bus but as in previous years, the price goes down if we have more people sign up, so please get your friends to come along as well.
